Whilst in the Oil industry, I bought then completely renovated my first house and in doing so, fell in love with the thought of being self employed. Becoming a plumber, I spent years working with local ‘time served’ plumber, fitting bathrooms, central heating, guttering, lead flashing and all types of pipework.
Branching out on my own, I discovered the huge satisfaction you get from specializing in complete, one stop shop, bathroom renovation. Taking out an old tired bathroom, listening to a customers thoughts an ideas then, converting those ideas into reality with the highest standards, to give that customer the bathroom they want in the house they live in…perfection.
A natural progression is fitting kitchens. I get immense job satisfaction from listening to a customer, then taking their hand (figuratively not literally) and walking them though the process of replacing their old kitchen. At the end when drinking coffee in a beautifully renovated room that’s delivered on time and on budget, it’s what makes me get up in the morning.
Recently I have branched out again, taking the natural progression even further and working with the team I have built up and my family, we take old derelict houses and renovate them to show home standard, well higher actually as we do it all properly!
Finally, as a ‘side hustle’ I have started making beautiful bespoke furniture out of oak and pine builders planks, beds and table mainly but I’m always open to the odd commission!
